GRATEFUL

[A PASSING MOMENT]

-- wow! it`s already thursday & my spring break is almost over.. i haven`t really done anything fun or gone anywhere awesome. i barely got enough sleep & i`ve been waking up early for the past few days! but somehow, i still feel pretty great! :]

for the past few days i have been working non-stop from 7AM in the morning till 10AM & sometimes till 12AM of the next day & then i would go back to sleep & repeat the routine again. but i realized that no matter how much i complained about being busy, hungry, or tired i still felt GREAT! it`s probably because i feel so accomplished in the past few days.. i`ve met so many new people, worked on & learned new things, & done so much. it seems to me that my days were well spent doing something productive rather than bumming around.

although i still wish i had more time to hang out with my family & friends, i think i valued the time more this week because i didn`t have a lot of time to hang out with them :] also, since i haven`t seen my parents at all since sunday night, i`m glad i actually got time to talk & hang out with my mom today @ Costco :] in the car ride to Costco, i talked to my mom about some of the benefits i got from working at the bank & told her that she & my dad might not have to pay for my bus pass anymore, maybe some of my tutition & that i`ll help pay off some of the gas bill. i felt so much more responsible & happy because i have been wanting to help out my parents for so long! & i`m finally glad that they won`t have to worry so much about me anymore, that way, they can breathe a little easier & rest a little more :]

although i didn`t really get to enjoy my spring break, i really am GRATEFUL..

GRATEFUL for my family
GRATEFUL for my friends
GRATEFUL for my life
GRATEFUL for the time i have to spend with the ones i love
& GRATEFUL for everything :]


God really works in mysterious ways. He always turns things around, especially the way we look at things :]
